What is CitroTech and how does it work?
CitroTech® is an EPA-certified, FDA food-grade fire inhibitor. Citrotech powered Wildfire Defense Systems are installed and pointed towards the wildfire risk on your property. Once wildfire approaches, remotely activate the sprinklers from your smartphone to defend your property from wildfire and ember attacks.
How is the price of my home Wildfire Defense System determined?
The price of our home Wildfire Defense Systems is determined by 3 primary factors: 1. Square footage of property, 2. Thickness of brush/vegetation, 3. Layout of property (steepness, obstacles).

At a time when homeowners are losing their insurance and rates are skyrocketing, Citrotech leaders are working on a risk reduction solution to bring underwriters back into the conversation. Insurance underwriters look favorably upon properties with proactive wildfire defense infrastructure in place. Is CitroTech® visible once applied?
No, Unlike all other foam and gel based fire retardants, CitroTech® is completely clear and forms a translucent layer over vegetation and combustible material.
What will my Wildfire Defense System look like?
Our Wildfire Defense Systems are similar to sprinkler/irrigation systems. Our systems, however, do not rely on public water supply. A tote of Citrotech is kept on the property, dispersing the fire inhibitor to sprinkler heads via concealed pumps. Our systems are custom fitted to your home and painted to match the exterior aesthetics of the home.
